HOW DO I PURCHASE QVI POINTS?

Simply log into the Qualify eStore and go to the Holiday products. You’ll see the QVI Points Privileged Access which you’ll have to purchase first before you can enter the QVI Points website. You will then receive an eCertificate in your Virtual Office, as well as a Pre-Activation Letter by email, requesting you to activate your QVI Points in your Virtual Office within 6 months. After activation, you will receive a Welcome Letter with your login details to enter the QVI Points site and start planning your holiday. The Welcome Letter will only be sent once – i.e. on the first time you purchase a QVI Points Privileged Access. You will also receive by email a set of Qupons for a host of holiday discounts and deals that are part of your Privileged Access.


WHY MUST I BUY THE QVI POINTS PRIVILEGED ACCESS FIRST?

By purchasing your qualifying QVI Point Privileged Access through QNet, you will be able to gain access to the QVI Points website. You’ll also receive a whole range of Qupons, giving you free room nights, discounts, freebies and offers with which to enhance your holiday pleasure! On top of all this, you’ll have a quantity of redeemable QVI Points to use on the website. 


WHAT DOES THE QVI POINTS PRIVILEGED ACCESS INCLUDE?

Your QVI Points Privileged Access comes loaded with Qupons which offer numerous benefits ranging from free hotel stays to dining vouchers and complimentary spa treatments. IS THERE AN EXPIRY DATE TO THE QVI POINTS PRIVILEGED ACCESS? DO MY BENEFITS DISAPPEAR ONCE IT EXPIRES?

Once you activate your QVI Points Privileged Access, extension beyond the expiry date is not allowed. You will have to re-purchase a new QVI Points Privileged Access through the Qualify eStore. Any unused QVI Points or Qupons will also expire on the date your QVI Points Privileged Access expires, so be sure to use your QVI Points and Qupons within their validity period.


CAN I EXTEND MY QVI POINTS PRIVILEGED ACCESS?

Extensions are not permitted.


HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY POINTS TO BUY?

This depends on your travel needs and how often you would like to travel. If you use the Demo login password provided in the What Is QVI Points? page of this website, you can take a look at the many options inside the website and note the Points value of each item. This can help you decide how many Points you should buy. You can choose to buy one allotment, or multiple allotments at any time.


WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH POINTS TO PAY FOR MY HOLIDAY?

If your QVI Points Privileged Access is still valid, you can top up your QVI Points at any time by going to the Repeat eStore and buying an allotment of QVI Points. If your QVI Points Privileged Access has expired, you will need to purchase another one from the Qualify eStore first, before buying an allotment of QVI Points from the RSP.


WHEN DOES THE VALIDITY OF MY QVI POINTS START?

The validity of your QVI Points in your QVI Points Privileged Access bought in the Qualify eStore will start from the day you activate them. Please note that you must activate your QVI Points within 6 months of purchase or they will automatically expire after 6 months.

For QVI Points bought from the RSP eStore, the 3-month validity period starts from your date of purchase.


WILL MY QVI POINTS EXPIRE?

Depending on the QVI Points product you purchased, the validity will range from six months to one year from date of activation for QVI Points Privileged Access, and three months from date of activation for Repeat Purchase. However, the validity of your QVI Points bought from the Repeat eStore will be linked to the validity of your QVI Points Privileged Access. If there is 1 month left on your Privileged Access, then even though you have just bought a quantity of Points with a 3-month validity, those will expire in 1 month when your Privileged Access expires.

Example:

If you purchase a 6-month QVI Points Privileged Access Classic on 1 Jun 2012 and activate it immediately, the QVI Points will expire on 1 Dec 2012.

If you then buy QVI Points Repeat Purchase 1 from the eStore on 1 July 2012 and activate it immediately, the validity of those QVI Points will expire in 3 months’ time i.e. on 1 Oct 2012. This is well before 1 Dec 2012, the expiry date of the QVI Points Privileged Access Classic.

However, if you buy and activate QVI Points Repeat Purchase 1 from the eStore on 1 Nov 2012, those QVI Points will only be valid until1 Dec 2012, which is the expiry date of the QVI Points Privileged Access, even though generally QVI Points Repeat Purchase may have a 3-month validity.

Extensions of QVI Points products are not allowed, so do ensure you make your holiday bookings within the relevant validity periods. Your travel dates need not be within the validity periods, only the booking/s must be.


WHAT CAN I BUY WITH MY QVI POINTS?

WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED MY WELCOME LETTER AND LOGIN CREDENTIALS?

Do check your Junk Mail box to see if the Welcome Letter has gone there. We recommend that you mark all future emails from QVI Points as ‘Safe’ so that they will go to your Inbox and not your Junk Mail box. If you have not received your Welcome Letter after 3 days, please contact [email protected] and we will look into the matter.


HOW CAN I CHECK MY QVI POINTS BALANCE?

You can simply click on the My Account tab at the top of the page, and all the details of your QVI Points balance, expiry dates, and purchase history will be listed there.


CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL A BOOKING ONCE IT HAS BEEN MADE?

All redemptions/purchases will have a cancellation policy that must be agreed upon prior to redemption/purchase of the QVI Points Product.  Some of the QVI Points Products are non-refundable or cancellable. Generally, you may be charged a cancellation fee of 18,600 Points, or in accordance to the amount chargeable by the relevant Merchant, whichever is higher.  All cancellations must be submitted by email to [email protected].

Unless otherwise stated in the third party Merchant’s cancellation or amendment policy, changes to confirmed bookings are not allowed.
CAN I PURCHASE A GUEST CERTIFICATE?

If you wish to gift a holiday to family or friends, you can purchase a Guest Certificate and let someone else use your holiday. The fee for each Guest Certificate is 7,200 Points. During the booking procedure, simply click on ‘Book for someone else’ under Guest Information and the fee will be automatically deducted from your QVI Points account. If your account has insufficient Points, you will need to purchase more from the Repeat eStore before the Guest Certificate can be issued.


IF MY COMPUTER HANGS IN THE MIDDLE OF A TRANSACTION, HOW CAN I KNOW IF THE TRANSACTION WENT THROUGH?

You can go to My Account and check your QVI Points balance. Any completed transaction would also be listed there. An email confirmation, with your booking details, will be sent to your registered email address. If you do not see your most recent transaction, you should re-submit your booking request. If you have any doubts, simply go to the Help tab and post your question, or use the Live Chat to connect with a Customer Experience Ambassador.


CAN I LOG INTO THE WEBSITE THROUGH MOBILE DEVICES?
